Launched in 2020, Lawless Pizza is owned by Michael Law, former chef, gastro pub manager, events director and cocktail mastermind during the heady days of 90s Soho, London. Having run the bar at infamous celeb and creative spots such as The Groucho Club, The Colony Rooms and later Fergus Henderson’s St John, Michael has always had a flair for flavour and a taste for quality ingredients.
Having moved to Norfolk with his family in 2010, Michael ran the kitchen at Norwich’s much loved Alexander Tavern in The Golden Triangle and studied Graphic Design at NUA. In his role as chef at The Anchor in Morston, Michael got involved with the pub’s woodfired pizza business, Anchors Away, inspiring him to later go on to set up his own in his home town of Aylsham.
Passionate about quality ingredients and authentic flavour, Michael makes his dough and sauces from scratch and sources only the best local and Italian ingredients. The 11-12 inch pizzas are hand-stretched and cooked to order. Nothing is frozen or ready made, every order is freshly made. Vegan, gluten free pizzas also available – just ask.
Serving the Norfolk market towns of Aylsham and Reepham most weekends, Lawless is also available for private parties, shoots, weddings and events.
